We are here to help you connect with your inner creator so we do not generally provide painting services. If you have been working on something in our studio and need help finishing it, we can sometimes work something out. Our painting fee is $25 per hour and we do not guarantee outcomes. We do not do projects from outside our studio.

YES! We have limitations on how fast we can turn around an item that is fired in the kiln, but we can ship (almost) anything. Shipping is an additional cost but is calculated based upon the total size box or boxes needed for the items painted, not per item or price. We also have a number of projects painting and otherwise that are ready the same day.

4 months We have tried holding items indefinitely and it has created issues with space. We definitely don't want to donate your creations, and we ask that you pick your items up within 4 months or have them shipped. We have a box outside for pick-up, so we can arrange to have it available for you at any hour you can get here, with some advance notice.

That depends on what you created with us! Earthenware is not dishwasher or microwave safe, so if you picked something up off the shelf, grabbed some paint or glaze and did a fancy design, no, it's not microwave or dishwasher safe. It is still washable! Wash with running water rather than letting it soak in a sink of water. Your etched glass is dishwasher safe. Your vinyl on glasses and vases can technically go in the dishwasher, but we don't recommend it. Wash gently by hand, don't soak. If you used acrylic paint (we didn't fire it in the kiln), it is not dishwasher or microwave safe, not food safe, and shouldn't be put in water or used for food or drink. If you painted stoneware with us, you can microwave it, wash it, bake it, store food in the refrigerator, .... Isn't that awesome?!

We do not currently teach wheel throwing. One of our missions is to show people that anyone can do art. Wheel throwing for the first time does not give that confidence. We recommend that you look at a community college for a multi-session course if you would like to try throwing. We do have small wheel workshops periodically that are fun and teach the general concepts. If you are interested in being notified about those, join our mailing list and/or follow us on social media!
